Woodstock Home Renovation is a booking line. It is not a renovation company, and it is not a directory that sells your enquiry to a list of bidders. It connects to one local renovation contractor working across the city and the county — the brick century homes downtown, the post-war bungalows, the 1970s to 1990s subdivisions and the newer houses in the northeast, plus Ingersoll, Tavistock, Innerkip, Plattsville, Drumbo and the farm properties between them.

Renovations are expensive, and most people do very few of them. That combination attracts a particular kind of selling: a round number with no breakdown, a large deposit before anything is ordered, a start date next week that was never realistic, and a gut job recommended where a refresh would have done. Anyone who has collected a few renovation quotes will recognise at least one of those.

The point of this site is a straight line to a contractor who looks at the house before pricing it, checks structure, wiring and plumbing first, breaks the scope out line by line, states material lead times, tells you how long you will be living around the work, and says plainly when a smaller job would serve you better.

What we will not do: publish reviews we do not have, invent a rating or a star count, show a portfolio of projects that are not ours, quote a fixed price on a website, claim to be an authorised dealer or certified installer for any product brand, or sell your phone number. This site is new. It says what it can do and nothing more.

What the contractor handles

• Kitchen renovations, including layout changes, soffit removal and wall removal under permit
• Bathroom renovations: full bathrooms, ensuites, walk-in and curbless tiled showers, steam showers
• Aging-in-place and accessibility renovations: curbless showers, grab-bar blocking, wider doorways, main-floor bedroom and laundry conversions
• Whole-home and main-floor renovations, century home updates, and above-grade duplex and triplex remodels
• Flooring and tile as part of a renovation: tile, luxury vinyl plank, hardwood and electric in-floor heating

What it does not handle

This site covers renovation work inside the house you already have, above grade. Basement finishing, new custom homes, additions, roofing and exterior work are other jobs and often other companies. Structural engineering is its own profession, and the design for a beam comes from someone qualified to produce it. Zoning decisions and permits belong to the City of Woodstock, your township, or Oxford County. Electrical work is regulated through the Electrical Safety Authority, trade certification through Skilled Trades Ontario, and workplace coverage through WSIB. You will be told when a job belongs to someone else rather than sold something that will not fix it.

How this works

When you call 548-490-6428 or send the form, your details go straight to the renovation contractor's office. They arrange a visit to walk through the house, discuss what you want changed, check the structure and services behind it, then quote the work in writing with the scope broken out and lead times stated. The work is done under their own licences and insurance. Your information is not sold, not shared with a list of competing companies, and there is no markup added to your bill for the introduction.

What we won't do

• Publish reviews we didn't earn. When we have them, they'll be real ones with names.
• Quote a firm price before someone has seen the job.
• Send anyone into your property who we would not have in our own.
